Arrive offers a feature that allows users to send location-based alerts. This functionality enables users to:
- Request contact from a friend or family member upon their arrival at a specific location.
- Inform others of their own arrival at a particular destination.
- Enable children to notify when they have reached home from school.
- Receive alerts when close to reaching a destination, useful for instances like napping during train rides.
- And more.
The platform prioritizes user privacy, ensuring that alerts and location data are stored locally on the user's device and not shared with any external servers. Recipients of alerts do not have access to the sender's location, and no tracking occurs.
Arrive permits an unlimited number of alerts to be set up, with convenient options to activate or deactivate alerts as needed once triggered.
Alerts can be transmitted via SMS or Push Notification, depending on whether the recipient also utilizes the Arrive application.
